Itinerary

PICK UP DAY - surf Goldy and camp Hippy town Byron Bay!

We're off to an early start to pick up our surf gang from Brisbane and heading down to hit the waves of the iconic Kirra Point on the Gold Coast! The crew will surf this incredible spot before grabbing lunch on the Goldy and heading down to the hippy town of Byron Bay! We will have time to go find Koala's before cooking an epic healthy meal together and watching the video analysis of the day's surf lesson. The group will have a chance to explore the nightlife of Byron Bay!

Surf Hippy town Byron Bay and Camp iconic Yamba!

We will make a light healthy breakfast before packing up heading down to the beach for our second surf lesson at the iconic ‘Pass’. We will surf for the morning before breaking away for lunch with passengers able to go out and explore the vibrant surf town. After lunch we will jump in the Bus and make our way to Yamba to set up camp for the evening. Yamba is more remote with incredible wildlife. The group will cook another healthy and nutritious dinner together before watching the video from this morning’s surf lesson. After this the group will have a chance to relax or join the guide in a night walk to look for native Australian animals.

Surf iconic surf town Yamba and Camp culturally significant Red Rock

The group has breakfast before unpacking and heading to the beach for our third surf lesson at Yamba. Here we will link up with some local legends who will take us through todays lesson. After the surf the group will get to explore the tiny surf town grabbing lunch before hopping in the bus again and heading towards the culturally significant site of Red Rock. We will meet with the local peoples of the Gumbaynggirr nation. The local First Nations peoples will show us living techniques passed down over thousands of years with the paddle boarding not only helping us work on our balance for surfing but also a modern day take on the Indigenous bark rafts which were used to travel and hunt these areas. After our Aboriginal experience we will unpack our site and spend the evening at Red Rock. The group will cook a nice nutritious meal together before another evening of nighttime wildlife watching.

Surf Quiet surf town Scotts Head

We have a healthy breakfast before hitting the road again to Scotts Head for our fourth surf lesson of the trip. We will join famous Australian surfing legend Trent Munro for an incredible lesson at the sleepy surf town. After the lesson the group will have the chance to grab some lunch before we unpack our campsite for an afternoon of downtime. The group will have a chance to explore the small surf town of Scotts Head which often has dolphins on show in the evening. We will cook some healthy dinner, watch the surf lesson from the day and discuss our surf plan for the following day.

Surf Crescent Head and camp stunning Seal Rocks

We’re on the road again this morning, this time heading to one of the best spots on the East Coast; Crescent Head. Surfers come from all over the world to try their hand at the long point break and it’s an epic way to finish off our week of surf lessons. We will meet with local legend Steve from On Point surf school. After the lesson the group will have a chance to grab some food before we head to our final camping spot of the trip; Seal Rocks. The area is renowned for its incredible scenery and wildlife. The group will have time for one final sunset at the headland before heading back to camp for dinner and the movie.

Drop off day :(

Today is a much slower pace as we begin the sad ending of our journey together. The group will be allowed a lazy wake up to enjoy the spectacular Seal Rocks before one final breakfast together and getting be dropped off one by one to their accommodation providers in Sydney.
