Departing Cairns airport, views of the city of Cairns and Trinity inlet are revealed as we head out over the Coral Sea. Savour all of our beautiful Great Barrier Reef as we climb over the inner edge of the Reef and beautiful Green Island. Tracking to the north, your scenic Cairns helicopter tour explores the western side of Arlington Reef, home to a diverse range of marine wildlife. Then - we’ll circle Vlasoff Cay, a beautiful sand island in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef. From Vlasoff Cay we head west, over Upolu Cay and back to the lush rainforest-covered Great Dividing Range.
Crossing the coast, we continue flying onto the quaint rainforest village of Kuranda, then to the Barron Gorge and over the Barron Falls, passing over the world-famous Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. We'll then make our way back to the airport with panoramic views towards Cairns Northern Beaches, up to Palm Cove and out to the Coral Sea.
