Overview

"2 days touring the most beautiful coastline in the world plus awesome hostel accommodation, cracking dinner and breakfast "

Ride Tours is the only tour company that offers 1 and 2 day
tours down the Great Ocean Road exclusively for 18-35 year olds. We specialise
in young travellers, backpackers and students, making the trips engaging and
fun for this audience and giving them the opportunity to meet likeminded friends
along the way.

We pick up from a selection of hostels in the morning and
start our tours in reverse to avoid the crowds. As well as visiting all the
must do spots along one of the most famous roads in the world such as the 12
Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge, you'll also be able to spot koalas and kangaroos
and maybe even some sting rays along the way. Don't worry about missing any
photo opportunities, our driver guide will be snapping along the way to ensure
you have that insta worthy post.

In the evening, we stay at the brilliant Sow & Piglets
which is not only a hostel, but a brewery too! After dinner (or before in
winter), we will head back out on the road to see the mighty 12 Apostles at
sunset and hopefully catch a glimpse of the Little Penguins returning home from
a day at sea. With our 2 day tour, we can relax the pace and take our time
exploring this iconic destination.

For the complete itinerary, please visit the website. Passengers must be aged 18-35 years old.

Itinerary

Day 1
The long drive out to start, heading towards Tower Hill Reserve and our furthest point away. A sunken Volcano, which is now a reserve left for the wildlife to roam freely around. Hope to find Kangaroos, Koalas, Emu's, Wallabies and during the summer Snakes and Lizard's. Lunch stop in Warrnambool at own expense. Next to the Great Ocean Road and the Limestone cliff's stopping at the Bay of Island national marine park at stops including Bay of Martyrs, The Grotto, London Bridge, Loch Ard Gorge and Gibson Steps. During the winter months and shorter days some of these stop will be done on day 2. Dinner will be a family meals that everyone helps to cook and clean-up at the accommodation in Port Campbell before we head for sunset. Sunset is at the 12 Apostles.
Day 2
Breakfast is a continental and served at the accommodation, plan to be on the road between 8am and 9am depending on time of year. Back to the 12 Apostles and any other Limestone stop's we couldn't get done the day before. Then into the Otway National Pak for a walk in the rainforest and a look at the massive Mount Ash tress and ancient Myrtle Beech trees. Next a stop in Apollo Bay for lunch at own expense and swim if hot enough before we drive along the original Ocean drive, making stops at different lookouts and looking for wildlife. Finishing up at Bells Beach and saying goodbye to the water and if need will find some more kangaroos before heading back to Melbourne and arriving between 6pm and 7pm.
