Because Traverse Travel is a reseller for third-party operators, our refund policy is governed by the primary service provider’s terms.
1. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel a booking, you must notify us in writing.
Cancellations are subject to the specific refund policy of the tour operator or service provider. Many operators charge a 100% cancellation fee if cancelled within 24–72 hours of departure.
2. Traverse Travel Service Fees
Any deposits or service fees charged by Traverse Travel at the time of booking are generally non-refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law (e.g., if a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee).
3. Change of Mind
Under Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund for a change of mind. We highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance at the time of booking to cover unforeseen cancellations.
